Update on my review.

My 8 year old daughter was telling me it was slow and how she didn’t like it. I myself felt like it was lazy especially in the low rev range. I also noticed there wasn’t any boost on the boost gauge. When I went to Litchfield for a tune they confirmed I had little to no boost on my turbos. Obviously the tune didn’t work. To save waiting for three weeks for an appointment I called Merc breakdown and had it recovered.

Looks like a broken pipe had led to neither of the turbos boosting.

So now it’s back on the road and now and it is seriously quick. Definitely blow away the RS3 now except in first gear.

I’ve paid a third of the money for the tune so I’m going to just pay the rest and tune it anyway.

I mentioned above it had no traction issues but now in first gear it does move about. So much more lively than my last Audi’s. I think I need to be careful and show it a lot of respect when it’s tuned.

I looked at the C63 to replace my C6 but everyone advised me against it. The only reason to go C63 was sound and everything else was inferior to the RS6 and that was good advice from guys on here.
I do love the sound but the fact your arse May come round in front of you off a roundabout some what puts me off. The 4 wheel drive option maybe but I think that’s now turbo so will have lost the sound. I may be wrong on that🤔

I too was sceptical but it’s just s new driving and learning experience for me.

I now have mine tuned to around 560bhp and yes it loses traction in 2nd but it’s really exciting. Need to get some proper tyres on it.

I took out a stage 4 GTR from Litchfield and it was stupid fast but almost too good. Didn’t feel as fun as the C63.

I’m sure I’ll go back to an Audi after a time but for now the Merc is so much fun. Just need to show a bit of respect.

Checked out the source of your Merc, they have some decent cars. Tempted by the C63 estate available (£47k, 14.5k miles, blue, looks decent price) but committed to my RS4 until at least November.

Enjoy the rumble!
