Good choice, DuncS3, you won't regret it! I considered swapping mine for a 507 but not worth it for an extra 20bhp and black series bonnet. Enjoy. :D

Excllent. I look forward to your thoughts. I'm getting a test drive in one in September, hope it has got more low down poke than the standard C63, I'm sure it will though.

I should think it has plenty. You are just used to the forced induction

It has way more than an RS4

it may be 50 bhp more than standard but the torque figure is only something like 7lb more - it should be slightly lighter but not sure there will be more low end torque. Saying that, it has way more than a B7 RS4 or e92 M3 - so low down I thought it was instantly quicker (240 lb/ft more than M3).

Picked it up this morning - first observations:

1) The noise is simply awesome - v8 muscle car with pops and bangs on overruns - crazy!
2) It is a boy racers dream - loads of attention - it does look quite 'sporty'...
3) I have to run it in which sucks and i will struggle to do the miles before October :(
4) Gearbox is 'ok' but not a patch on my M3s DTC
5) Steering has more feel than M3 thats for sure
5) Handling - too early to tell as i have only done 100 odd miles but couple of roundabouts I believe the M3 feels better (M3 was better than RS4 too but I still rated my RS4)
6) looks - sat next to M3 - no question the AMG looks more special

So far loving it - will post some more pics soon...
