Only until Audi drop the 4.0t into a new RS4. Both the new RS4 and 4WD AMG are quite a few years away yet (clearly) so I am sure Audi and BMW for that matter will watch mercedes with interest on this.

The only reason I like Merc/AMG is because they've got the Black Series. These are waaaay cooler than the weedy Audi 'Plus' versions...

Yes the black series are another level again,audi have had the awd luxuxy performance car market to themselves since i can remember now thew will have to up their game to compete with merc and bmw which will be good for us the consumer as now there is competition.
