Interested to know wheel horsepower too? Just had the 335i dyno'd and it hit 403bhp @ the wheels! I was very impressed, knew it felt quick but didn't expect that much. Calculated about 470bhp at the fly.ecain63 wrote: Out of interest, what was your wheel horse power? That would give us an idea on paper.
On the same rollers an rs4 did 390bhp at the fly so figures seem believable. WOnder if it was a member on here?
Never had my rs6 on the rollers so not sure what they make at the wheels.
RE: Re: RE: RS6 plus eats dust from M5
i had a clio once that could do 70 mph

That is impressive, don't they run 306bhp stock? If I could get a 65% increase on the c5 it would be close to 750, Well until the gearbox exploded anyway!

Re: RE: Re: RE: RS6 plus eats dust from M5
Yeah 306bhp out the box. Plenty in the USA regularly thrashed on the 1/4 mile strips without blowing up. One has 543@wheels!! In this weather a std rs6 would trounce it though cos it just can't get the power down, its lighting up the rear tyres on half throttle at under 3k rpm! Think I need 275's on 19's rather than 18's/235 wintersmarv8 wrote:Just had the 335i dyno'd and it hit 403bhp @ the wheels! I was very impressed, knew it felt quick but didn't expect that much.
