OMFG Now DMS Stage 2!! (With Dyno Plot)

OMFG, she's now been uplifted from Stage 1 to a Stage 2 tune & even speaking from experience, this is pure insanity.
Headline figures on their Dyno Dynamics dyno were (after some last minute overnight tweaks) 748bhp & 700lbsft (950nm in old money). The car was quick with her Stage 1 tune but this is a whole new level of bonkers.
To give you an idea, on my check over test drive (to check all was as it should be), on a private piece of road i took her up to 120mph & buried the throttle (all settings were comfort & economy) & she lit the back wheels up like a car possessed. I'm honestly having to adjust my driving style as this new level of torque is pure pornography. Power uplift over my Stage 1 is near as damn it 60bhp but the torque rise is 100lbsft across the range & 120lbsft to peak torque which is now 900rpm lower in the rev range.
I think i'm now in love with my car

Welcome to the 700+PS club. You're not far off 1,000+NM club either. Does it feel more insane than your GTR?

Hope you get it fixed & defo a good job you have some coverage. Went out in DMS's E60 M5 a few weeks ago & that howl from the V10 did remind me of what i liked about mine Is an awesome power plant.

Thanks. She's now by far the most powerful car i've ever had & that new torque level is somewhat addictive. I hope to God no hidden Nazi's were present on the A34 today as i gave her quite a tickle to test the new levels.
Due to the very clever AWD & launch hook up in the GT-R, i'd still not be able to compete off the line with a mildly tuned one, but rolling would be a whole different matter. Rob (DMS) reckons it would take 800+bhp in a GT-R to keep up (his words not mine) & it certainly felt that way on the road as the mid range is like nothing i've ever experienced.
Next purchase will be a VBOX Sport, as i'm dying to know what she's doing what these new outputs equate to in performance stats.

Glad you're pleased.
You're going to feel a bit like Jay from Inbetweeners when other car people ask you the power, and you respond with 742BHP. I had a Mini owner the other day admiring mine, asked the power output, when I told him he must have walled off thinking 'bless him'. Such an unbelievable amount of power from a saloon.

It's a good point
Never been that bothered about collecting data before, but dying to see what this uplift means in real world performance stats so very excited about the incoming VBOX. Shouted feck me on several occasions on the drive back from Southampton yesterday & not very often that happens.
In response to the above, no hardware changes have been made to my car (can't imagine what could be achievable if I did start fettling with parts). Uplift is soley from the DMS Stage 2 tune. Uplift from the Stage 1 tune is 47bhp, but over 100lbsft of torque which is the giggle inducer

Tbh mine was producing quite a bit over BMW quoted figures stock. This it seems is quite normal for the F10 M5.

just our of interest what gear did they RR your F10 in as 3rd gear and 4th gear give huge number differences? my 3rd year gave me 624 bhp on a stage one map and 701 in 4th gear.

To be honest i can't recall, but mine achieved about 690 on it's Stage 1 tune & 748 on Stage 2. Although not a huge power delta between them, the difference in torque IIRC was over 100lbsft between the 2 tunes. Pretty sure their's a thread on here somewhere following my Stage 1 with the relevant outputs.

cool NP only reason I ask is some tuners post results of power runs in F10 in 4th gear which shows huge gains when the correct gear is actually 3rd. For example stock M5's are showing 600+ bhp in stock form in 4th gear and around 500ish in 3rd gear which is what they pretty much are from the factory.

Mine was IIRC close to 600bhp stock against i think what BMW quote of 565, however this seems to be the case globally as most F10's i'm aware of that have been tuned put out between 580-610 stock.
