Shelling peas

They are at it again

Brand new M5 11% discount and 0% credit

And that's before further negotiation.

Makes a M5 cheaper than an M3 on finance.

Clear to see why there are so many of them everywhere.

The deals were even better than that last year. Getting 11% discount on a new £75-95k car is pretty normal & possible on AMG/Jag as well as BMW M but unfortunately not Audi RS :audibash: For a real bargain, check out the M6 or M6 GC.

The deals are even better on new Model E63s with £12k discount possible without much effort.

I don't think 1500 cars per annum really counts as 'so many' but they've certainly popular:)

It's 11% off list AND 0% APR which when compared to 4.9% RS 6 and 6.4% Merc is probably at least another £10k interest saved.

And that's the negotiation starting point

Certainly keen

And billy bargain

But proves list price is meaningless except for willy waving as no sod wops out £74k cash for an M5

Is the 0% finance offer the same as last years though where you need to place a 50% deposit?

A friend is looking to sell his C6 RS6 & move to one of the new model E63's. He was planning to take one out on extended test later this week. He mentioned an initial discount without haggling of £12k which is insane really but i guess a sign of the times. A lot of car for the money & the E63 like the M5 comes well loaded as standard. Think he'll also be visiting DMS in the New Year for a fettle.

Heard from DMS today that their new F10 M5 map is giving a power output of 740bhp so i'm looking forward to having that applied to mine in the New year :jump_clap:

Just looked through a few classifieds for these and they have dropped like stones, considering they're a pretty good steer.

Previous - Sprint Blue B7 RS4 Avant, Ceramics, Sunroof, SS+, Buckets, FBSW, Bluetooth, 2010+ RNSe
Previous - Phantom Black B7 RS4 Avant, Black Optics, Titan pack, SS+, Buckets, FBSW

When I was looking a few weeks back the E34 and E39 were selling for the same price as the E60s. You can get an F10 now for £35k.

Be great if Audi did the same with the RS 6.

F10s are bloody cheap for a 2nd hand example and very affordable on finance for a new one also. Residuals may not be so strong though.
2014: 8V S3, Scirocco (mistake)
2013: B8 RS 5, 3.0T S5 coupe, B8 S5 cab - temp, B8 S4 avant
2011: 2.0T FL Octavia VRS
2010: 1.8T Octavia VRS

Audi won't, but then the residuals will be stronger for which I will be grateful.

Bloody hell, that is a good deal then & probably back on a par with last years non lease/CH deals. Can't see the deals BMW & Mercedes offered on Lease/CH being available again for a very long time. Is a nice feeling driving a premium car on the cheap:)

You'll be surprised as that's not been the case to date with the M3/RS4 or M5/RS6. What throws the figures slightly for the M5/RS6 is BMW & Audi have somewhat opposing launch years so the F10 M5 arrived in 2011 but the C7 RS6 didn't arrive until 2013, where as the M3/RS4 tends to be more aligned (i'm sure it's just coincidence).

Also bear in mind it's all relative as C7 RS6 owners will have paid a lot more in real terms so the delta between what was paid & what it will be worth in 3yrs will be pretty much the same.

I'll have paid roughly £24k for my car over 3years & will have covered 40k miles which i'd be surprised if that's the limit of depreciation for a 3yr old C7 RS6. I can see a few 18mth old cars are now in the classifieds at mid-low £60's & they're high spec cars so will have lost £20k ish in that time. The deal i got though was pretty exceptional.

Saying that, the C7 RS6 is certainly the best value holding RS6 Audi have ever launched which can only be a good thing so i do agree that by Audi standing firm on discounts & by limiting production (that's the bigger factor i feel), they're doing a great job.
