I quite like that too.

Expect it will sound <beep> and have no traction being a blown car

I dunno about that, don't they channel sound thru the speakers ?

What is it with Beemer M3s (yeah, I know it's a 4) and 'that' colour?
It's a looker from the side profile and I love the crease down the side, front and read-ends are too busy. Also, I can't decide if I like that square bonnet leading edge, looks odd, doesn't blend well at all, it looks like they forgot the bonnet and made a cutout at the last moment.

For me the BMW design team is looking to Japanese inspired

The bonnet is an interesting one. I personally love the square, I find that fresh as I've not seen that before. I do think they shouldve kept bonnet crease count down. I count 3-4, when 2 woulda done the job
