Great news about the car being found and the guys being arrested. Hope the car is in reasonable nick buddy and glad that buying a tracker does make difference. Was it found through the tracker guys?

When a car is bought on a PCP, and then it is stolen, how does that effect the MGFV etc...?

Well there's always a sleeper. Debadge an S4/S5 3.0 V6 and take her to MRC. Less obvious and still 450-500 bhp and to anyone looking for highend cars it looks just like the any other model of that range.

As I understand it the GFV is set by the lender and is their risk. It is generally low on the side of reality so they have some contingency built in.

But if they came from bradford they must of had info that the car was there? what would stop them from trying again?

I think you need to set up some sprinklers or somethings for night time, im sure they wont be trying to break in when they are getting Wet and i am sure this will not be classed as any harm so you wont end up getting nicked for it, where as hitting them with a baseball bat you would get more time than them.

What about having the sprinklers hooked up to petrol?
Amazing how non confrontational someone is doused in petrol and standing in a puddle of petrol...

Was speaking to the locksmith fella yesterday and its a subject we have touched once before on the forum
Snap proof locks for your UPVC doors
If they had been fitted to my door the even with the melting of the UPVC they still wouldn't be able to get in
Not sure where you get em think they were developed by a company in Yorkshire

There really is no way to stop someone once you have been targeted if they are reasonably well prepared. All we can hope is that you don't fall onto their radar.

Every lock in the house is avocet ABS snap and bump proof locks.
Highly highly recommend them. I bought a set to test and sure enough they break (surprisingly easy) but you can't open the door and the mechanism is left inside the steel frame of the door. However the key just slots in and works fine. When I replaced the locks I tried with the old set and on my first go it took less than 15 seconds without having a sure idea of what exactly to do. Big "snap" and the lock fell apart and you just push the barrel out and turn the mech. How these can be sold over Europe is beyond me.
As a nice side effect, you can have all the locks coded to the same number so you don't have to worry about loads of different keys... one key for the whole house (just don't lose it... but that's what house insurance is for ;-))
