Can anyone recommend a nice hotel/guest house in the brecon beacons area please? Me and the wife are looking to go the end of march.

Why ?? You must be mad its miserable up there this time of year!! I still have nightmares of running over and back of the Pen - Y- Fan years ago!!

We are only going for 2 nights for the wifes birthday. We have a hot holiday coming up in april and we really don't mind the chilly weather as long as the driving roads are good (brecon beacon is meant to be great)

Ah ha!! Well if having a good old drive about then of course do it there are some special mountain roads in Wales! Ive stayed in some nice remote cottages in the past with just the dog and the 4 and had a blast!! but again you can find loads on line. Enjoy
