bam_bam wrote:*Wibble* Rulemotherfucken1 NEOW!!! The XA/B/C coupes were one of my favourite cars growing up, even as a Holden lad, I lusted after them. What state is it in, does it run, when did you bring it over? Sooooo many questions! I've been thinking of tracking down a decent LC or maybe a good late HX and shipping it over.
I'd love to come and take a look, we could do a Nu(ish) Skool German muscle car vs. Ye Olde Timer Aussie "Last of the V8 interceptors" face off... kick it in the guts Barry!

You have earned much kudos.

Cheers

She's got a Holley 650 vac sec, they are indeed centrelines but I really want a set of classic "jelly bean" style wheels.
Disk brakes all round (not too sure what the diff is, suspect if might be from a V8 XD/XE, rebuilt engine and trans. I've had the interior fully retrimmed, stuck with vinyl (she's a blue collar car).
Pacemaker headers with twin 2.5 in exhaust and balance pipe, sounds nice, but may have to change the mufflers to make her properly loud.
Booked in at the mechanics to sort out a few last niggles (i.e. no brakes, trans fluid likes being anywhere but in the tranny) then she's off to the trimmer mid August to get the last few interior bits done. Hoping to be on the road before winter comes back again.
She is Focus ST orange, probably not the colour I would have chosen, but it does look pretty sweet when the suns shining.
Wanted one of these since I was 16, pretty chuffed to almost be there..
