It could have been worse, you could have been stuck in the UK trying to get back to San Diego ;)

Personally, I wouldn't complain about being stuck in San Diego too much as I like the place, and would head off down the Gaslamp Quarter tonight if there are no flights.

I'm hoping it all blows over before I go to Frankfurt in a couple of weeks.

Just be glad it was a puny one and not a 'Super Volcano'.

I watched some documentary on them a while ago. Geologists reckon Yellowstone is well overdue an eruption so huge that it could potentially result in such massive ash clouds that they'd block out enought sunlight to kill crops, etc.

Glad i've got a decent air filter on the S4! :)

Agreed defiantly worse places to be stuck . .biggest problem is no RS6 :( to drive and that I already spend half my life here

Ahh well here's hoping the Hotel has a good beer supply :)

Also hoping the ash does not damage the car back in the UK as it lands :o
