Thanks for that.

The images seem to be a few months old, at least around my house. Can be quite intrusive, and a great boon for burglars. And yet photographers get hassled by the Plod & PCSO's and treated like terrorists.

Do wonder if this should be in off topic chat so that it's more widely known about. :)

How many car thieves do you think sit there on a computer for hours at a time looking for locations of nice cars parked up?

Think you are at much more risk of a scumbag walking past a house and noticing a car. Streetview isn't even that great. Takes ages to navigate around. Has anyone used it for anything other than a) Looking at their own house, b) using it to see landmarks so you know where you are going (when you know the exact location) or c) comedy links to amusing scenes caught on Streetview, eg: Motorcyclist wheelie, kerb crawlers, topless chicks, etc??

They should get done for aiding and abetting a criminal, they did manage to catch some bloke doing nude sunbathing in his garden in Sweden I believe, it is a totally outrageous invasion of privacy.

lol, On a side note, I actually did this as a job once, had to map 5500miles of road network in the middle east, was once of the most monotonous things I have done. traveling at speeds of no more than 80kph, then slowing down to 30kmp when going under bridges. had to film only between hours of 0800 and 1500 due to the suns ecliptic path reflecting of the lenses.... any how... I saw no naked birds lol

It has some plus`s too.

You can check out a internet company to see it they are genuine rather than bedroom traders.

I use it sometimes to check out large credit card orders, £3500 set of BBS wheels to a bedsit above a shop in Ilford may need a code 10 check.
