seen The Wire. This apparently is supposed to be high quality US drama and I am astounded that my wife actually likes it but the bad language is beyond belief.

I have seen all the five series recently. It is definitely a slow burner which develops the characters well. Its not an all out action show like the shield or 24. I really enjoyed it and some of the characters are superb, Omar and Stringer Bell among my favourites.. Good show, worth sticking with it.

It was the extent of the bad language that got me. Ive been to the states a few times and they have always been nice and polite to me albeit I don't move in drug dealing, gun toting circles.
