Odd qeustion!

Can any one recommend a furniture place that sells items instantly, such as bed, sofas etc etc, im moving into my new pad and only have 2 weeks to get sorted!

All places i looked at wanted a 3-5 week delivery time...bloody ludicrous!

Im in the London /Kent area!

Ikea for the win...

Turn up at 10pm at night and it's pretty quiet and civilised rather than the usual scrum.

Mate of mine has a Furniture Factory (Pine and Oak) not the crap stuff either... He sells beds, chest of drawers, wardrobes , bedsides etc. All trade and he likes the sound of cash as well...

PM if you need anything, he's a top bloke..

Some of Ikea stuff is pretty good.

I always thoguht Ikea was utter crap untill 2 years ago.

The in laws have their house kitted with the stuff, and its pretty good quality I must say. And has lasted 2 years without any sign of wear.

Thats kitchen, all living room and dining room furniture too.

the only thing I wouldnt get from Ikea is a bed. Matresses are good. Just really crappy looking bed frames.

Would agree with Saf too. We had a TV cabinet which was solidly built and lasted us 5 years, we only changed it because we redecorated. The new one from Haskins cost us a small fortune by comparison and it bowing in the middle, trim has come of it and the door wont say level for more than a couple of opens.

yea i agree too, I saw a nice bed int he furniture village, but again 3 week delivery, I'm liking the idea of renting out a van, I did not even think of that
