He deals with a bunch of hoodies who were pestering him, and then gets hounded by the police for alleged 'assault'...why aren't they out there catching real criminals, like the ones who stole Jason's car last night...???!
makes my blood boil...!!!
Basically, they took one look at the evidence and said "well, he didn't hurt the kid, and it was obvious that he was the one being picked on. No point in going any further".A spokesman said: "Mobile phone images were viewed, as well as CCTV footage, and it became apparent that, if any offence had occurred, it was the man who was the victim."
Clarkson was later interviewed at his home in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, but did not wish to make a complaint or provide a statement.
The police spokesman added: "There is no evidence that a crime took place and therefore there will be no further police action."
I don't think it's strictly fair to call Clarkson a toady ...what the article says is "toady, Jeremy Clarkson wasn't taken to court".
