A gimp suit is a garment designed to cover the body completely (usually including the hands and feet) and to be very close-fitting. It often has an attached hood; if not, it will be worn with a bondage hood or "gimp mask". It may be made from rubber, PVC, spandex, darlex or leather, although leather (not being stretchy) cannot be as close-fitting as the others.
It differs from a catsuit, unitard or zentai more in its purpose than its appearance. It is used in BDSM to objectify the wearer and reduce him or her to the status of a sexual toy, rather than a sexual partner. Unless there are suitably placed zips, the genitals will be inaccessible while the suit is worn.

Driving lessons....Driving things 'home' maybe more the case if a gimp suit is worn..... unless of course there are no handy zips etc.

There are numerous iterations on the forum. This appears to hit the bull's eye and is refreshing in its inception. There is a member called S4TAN who mentions the "gimp suit" rather a lot.
