Post by viperbl » Mon May 28, 2007 11:47 pm

Had the video on, but it was playing up so I did not get from where he went down ...

He fecked his leg pretty bad end the guy he took out (which, was his mate, at least before this!) walked away ...

Just before the gooseneck on the TT course ...

Nasty but I guess it could have been worse. :?

Good to see you knew what the priority was as the first on scene.

Yeah, my passenger was out of the car stopping the traffic before I even got the handbrake on which left me to get the emegency services on the way.

Jeees....any idea what started it all off, poor road surface, crap riding? Going into the bend too fast?

Can’t say for sure, I did not notice anything wrong until he was on his side with sparks flying out the bottom… if you look back at the start of the video you can see the scratch marks in the tarmac, maybe he lent over too far and his pegs dug in? It does seem to be just at the start of the corner …

He was probably pushing too hard to avoid that car behind him getting in front of him.... seeing the car just passed all of his mates...;)

For his pegs to have touched the road at that point he must have mis-read the corner and been going in way too fast.

He wouldn't have left his side stand down surely?

Which one was taken to hospital - the one in the foreground banging his head with his left hand or the one laid out sparko in the distance?

I know im going to get jumped on here but i really dont care, you live by the sword you die by the sword, it was probably his own fault and to boot he took someone else out with it. Sorry but motorbikes are nothing but a big pain in the a**e, rode MOSTLY by idiots who feel they need to prove something to whoever happens to be in there vicinity. :knob:
