Anyone contemplating ISOFIX

Just been reading through the other posts in here and came across some people asking about this...

When I went to purchase my B6 S4, it did not have it fitted, but I was told it was a simple job to retrofit, so got it included in the purchase price, along with two seats.
I have to say that the colours on the seats are by no means ideal, but the seats themselves I am VERY impressed with. They literally take 10 seconds to fit and remove, compared with several minutes each for the beasts I have to put in and take out of my wife's car on a regular basis.

If you are planning on ferrying young kids about in your rockets, I can certainly recommend them

My S4 doesn't have the ISOFIX either despite when my VIN was entered in their computer it says it has it. They've quoted £130 so I think I'll contact Audi Customer Services and see if they'll pick up the tab. The brochure also says the outer rears should have it.

What seat have you got? I had a trial fitting of a Jane Rebel (as part of a 'travel system') and the assistant said it was the best fitting she'd ever had with any seat in any car! It was rock solid just using the seat belt. I do like the ease of kit of ISOFIX though.

ROFL

Well he was spot on with the make. They are exactly as stated above and do a very good job of looking after my little bundles of puke and poo
