Aimed at the latest GT3 owner.... check this out here.....
Forget it's e-bay for a moment, but I collect these Autoart models and the detail is the best I've ever seen, good build quality.
So go on John, treat yourself to another.
There is also a good example of a M3 CSL just for Tim........
I have about 30 of these 1/18th models to date - is there a self help group ?

Yes there is Pete.
Go to google, type in 'die cast models', then go to each site and spend at least an hour looking at all the goodies on each one
Well it works for me every time
Half a mile up the road from me is
www.grandprixlegends.com
My christmas list this year consists of their catalog with ticks next to all the models I want

and yes, they do a GT3 RS which I have asked for

Actually John, I also have that same catalogue and I ordered the Impreza 'dirty' rally car in which Solberg won the GB rally.
I received it last week and sent the thing straight back - firstly despite costing £66 odd, the quality was 'very' poor (I expected AutoArt quality) and the plinth it was mounted on said 'Rally of Finland'...... wtf.
Like you, I have indicated to Santa that I want the GT3 as well..........
AutoArt are producing alot of models going back to the 80's and 70's in the very near future - so keep your eye's peeled.
When we were at the Nurburgring I popped out for fuel and I bought an AutoArt Focus rally car at petrol station, I've since found that that model was only released to the german market and I got a bit of a bargain.
Whenever we go away anyway, I always check out the local model shops (diecast models)..........
Quite sad really

I sent em an e-mail and they replied saying that AutoArt have not yet done a CS version yet, but they 'may do' in the future....
My experience of AutoArt is that they really do take their time on releasing new models - so it may be a long long wait.
But I'm sure if you did get an GT3 RS you will not be disappointed with the detail and quality.
The best one I've seen is the one I linked to on the German e-bay site, all in for about £86 including delivey....

Unfortunately Dave, I've not found any half decent RS4 models anywhere.
I enquired a few months ago to a professional model maker about making an RS4 and the costs that came back were quite frigtening - some £12k...
I doubt if a 1/18 quality model of an RS4 exists

JR,
AutoArt don't do a CS but there are both a white/red and a white/blue RS in the catalogue I have. I am not sure of who makes them.
Pete, no doubt you are looking for very good quality models, and I can understand that spending 60+ quid you expect something half decent. I have lots of 1/18 models too, so know what you mean.
Oh, and if you remember I was with you when you went in the two shops at Spa

we're heading to the hills for a bit of skiing this christmas so had our pressie opening session on Sunday (no way could I wait until we got back !)
Guess what white/red 18th scale beauty I found in my sack from Santa
opening front, rear and doors. Very detailed.
