Police doing there job

Post by johneroberts » Fri Dec 03, 2004 10:14 am

Some of you may know that i suffered a burlgary in the summer and over £50k worth of stuff got taken, i had given up ever seeing the stuff again or the police catching the Feckers that did it.
Well last night i had a call from the old bill, saying that could i come down to the police station as they have arrested 2 people, with our burlgary and recovered some items, and could we go and identify them.
Can you imagine my feelings, the GT3 never move so quick
Got there to find out that a pair of local 18yrs old herberts were the culprits, but none of the stuff recovered was ours
But the guys are in the magistrates this morning, and guess who will be there, getting a make on the bastards.
The arresting officer did say that they both have previous, and with serverity of the burlgary, he would be suprised if they dont get at least 4 years.
So it does work...in a aroundabout way.
Cheers

JR...take your digi camera with you just in case they get off....I'm sure we can round up a crew willing to impart a little 'justice'. :-)

Glad they got them, shame they didn't find your stuff.

While we are on the spelling tip, it's 'their' not 'there' ;)

Um...not it's not...it's there...as in he's going to be there. Their is when you are referring to someone's belongings. " ie. their car."

Phil....Ahh...referring to the title...then yep, you're right. I thought you were on about the 'there' in the text of the post.

Maybe we should look at adding a grammer/spellchecker after all... ;-)
