New car mag out soon
New car mag out soon
Jan 15 Fast Road & Track Day goes on sale, available from all good newsagents (but won't include WHSmith High Street for the first couple of months).
It's a monthly title covering all makes of high performance, production cars up to about the 50 grand mark.
Check out www.fastroad-mag.com to see what's in the first issue.
You probably know John Thorne: We've got his 460 bhp RS4 in the second issue and on the cover.
We'll be looking for interesting Audis for general features and also technical articles, so if you're doing any overhauls or upgrades and you would like to see them featured in our magazine, give us a call on 01453 811804 or e-mail us, info@fastroad-mag.com
Thanks,
hope you like the mag.
Barton

Welcome to RS246 Barton
Nice to see the media take an interest in these nice cars.
We already know about your mag as Steve is covered in your first issue

Cool. Two members in the the mag already. Sounds like we might have a few cars we could feature, or maybe feature the site and members as one big article.
Here is a better pic of the front cover, and Steve's mean machine
Maybe you might like to adverstise on RS246? Maybe we might like to advertise in Fast Road & Track Day....

Re: New car mag out soon
Never did managed to get hold of a copy of the first issue. WH Smith on the Central Concourse at Victoria Station had lots of copies of the second one on Wednesday so bought one.
Ben/Thorney's RS4 looks stunning on the front cover. Fantastic photographs in the magazine and there looks to be some interesting reading too.
Glad to see the competition for a Miltek exhaust is open to guys and gals despite the magazine being aimed at the male of the species!

I thought the first issue was okay, will buy the second - not sure about subscribing yet though.
I would of liked to see more performance figures for the featured cars, although I can imagine the guy with the EVO Merc wouldn't be keen on caning it for times!
Dunc

Picked up a copy at Birmingahm Airport.
The featured vehicles were interesting, but IMO the journalism was puerile, and I found it a difficult to take the magazine seriously.
