My Personal Website!

After a warm welcome from tyresmoke.net
Hello everyone, as you may be aware of i have been busy making my own website, nothing special just basic.. this site is not to compete with any forums! if the admin people feel this is a post which should have not be posted please feel free to delete it and accept my apologies.
I set it up with freeware and im very happy with it, 19 people have done my vote and one new member has joined , i was hoping to work with a forum and offer this as a chat area with no limits, no history of posts etc just a basic chat site!
There has been a ongoing topic which had a previous post locked (Audi-Sport.net)
On my site i think this is a good topic to chat about also there is some good pictures and info there too

Once again im not trying to compete with any forums, and everyone is welcome to join in the chats.
I think tonight 21:00 is a good time to see if their is any intrest in my site..... go there and click on chat(s).

I have made a room for each site with links back to their own sites..... if the admin people wish RS246.com not to have a chat room please let me know and i`ll remove the room!

Good stuff Riz, like it. Your cousin's not going to be part of the regular service though is he? [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
Interesting concept, I like the idea of a realtime chat. If anything good comes out of it, do you session record so it can be immortalised for posterity (you can tell me if you do, we'll just tell everyone else that you don't...) [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
Only thing is though, I do a lot of my forum trolling at work and I'm not sure I'll be interruption-free long enough to keep up if the conversation gets going!

Yep its not to replace forums but there as a addition.... the full versions will have bigger scroll back buffers so history can be viewed [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Lets hope the admin peeps like it.

Re Live Chat - This functionality can be available in RS246 v2.0 if people like. Personally it don't rock my boat.... I tried 0898 696969 once and it just took over my life [img]images/graemlins/080402call_prv.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/062802drink_prv.gif[/img] .
Will take a look at the site later, and post some views.

Prefered the site you had the other day, the layout in this one is a bit bland and s-l-o-w.

And it's down right now!, If you are gonna run these sites you must ensure they are up, otherwise they die a very quick death. BUT. to be fair Phil mate, RS4.org wasn't all that in the very early days - it all has to start somewhere!, and you guys had the small luxury of the RS4.org experience and the fact that it was closing so it gave you a model to easily copy and develop into something great! so:
1. Okay a bit slow - work required here gr8 start!
2. Neither did we at RS4.org
3. Fair comment - their should be a link if you want to notify all on RS246.com about it!
Personally I'm loosing track of all these new forums, I think for this type of thing to succeed their should only be a small amount of forums. I will be sticking with RS246! then I won't spend all my time reading and not driving [img]images/graemlins/FIREdevil.gif[/img]
