Another small and dedicated Blaster Worm removal tool by Symantec (168ko).
After download, it will scan your PC entirely just for the Blaster Worm, takes about 10-20 minutes.

My first post in AGES!!! What can I say, been working too hard.
I believe when you run this application, it scans the hard drive and then asks you to download a prevention patch. GET THE PATCH, as we've learned in the office, if you don't get the patch you can get the damn thing again, and the server won't connect to the net and the Chief Executive gives you 24 hours to flush it out of the system Oops.
Rock on

Ok Phil
So here's the very complete link from our favorite company in the world :
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp
At least, it covers quite a lot of situations and operating systems, including how to activate the internal firewall of Windows XP (didn't know it had one until today...).
