Speeding tickets....a warning to all

There has been talk recently of getting away with a speeding conviction by not signing the form when you return it once filled in. I learnt on the weekend that a new law was passed on June 1, 2003 to make it an offence not to fill the form in correctly (that includes ommitting the signature). The penalty is a huge fine AND points.
Just a warning to all.
Happy driving,
Lee

Update.
Both cases adjourned until the 15th July 2003 to allow for further arguments to be considered.
So my understanding is that there is still NO legal requirement to sign an NIP.
