2 British killed at Nurburgring

I subscibe to "Ringers" and Apparently yesterday in a Ferrari left the track and burst into flames, Our thoughts go out to the famlies concerned, RIP

Really tragic isn't it.

Just brings it home to you that trackdays can sometimes go very badly wrong.

British Ferrari 360 Modena that was involved. Seems the guys that were burned alive were well known over on Pistonheads.

Very chilling. Happened on the Friday and we turned up Saturday morning. It really made me drive less agressivley for the whole weekend.

It's really affected my thoughts and has heightened my appreciation of the value of other things over track days.

I'm not sure if I have now lost that confidence that makes them so much fun. We also saw a biker whose limp body was being supported by various people whilst waiting for the ambulance. There was loads of accidents this weekend.

I'm not sure if it's worth it anymore (speaking for me personally) [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
