I have the following on order, why, because you never know:
1. RS4 - I suspect it ain't gonna be all that
2. RSR - We'll see what the specs are compared to the price.
3. AMV8 - Looks nice, and again, we'll see what the specs are.
I live in hope

Oh yeah.... And I can't really see myself getting rid of the RS4. It's going to have a high mileage, and look what's happened to the RS2.

Phil,
Like you I've plonked one down on the AMV8.
I suspect, however, that despite it's unbelievably gorgeous looks (best looking car I've ever seen so far), it's not going to be as quick as we all would want it to be
Unfortunately I smell a very clever marketing ploy by Ford with this one.
Time will tell I guess.
Alan.
ps also got a deposit on new V10 M5 which should be interesting (sorry to mention BMW )

Worth 'registering your interest' though . Let's just hope it's not a Mundaneno.

Never loved a car so much
Done 58k miles now, and no intention at all of changing it. Reckon I might calm the monthly mileage down when she gets 550bhp, but there again she is so reliable and even good on fuel at 475bhp (averaging 28mpg on a run!).

just had the easiest decision to make, lease was up on my car, so should i buy it - only 17K km's and for equivalent of 19,000 UKP - yes I love mine to.

Thats the problem. What on earth are you going to able to replace it with. I just cant see myself getting rid of mine.
Yes. Maybe the new RS4 could be ok. But I don't want just ok....

If we assume new RS4 has about 400bhp odd I personally will stick with chipping mine. The new 4 isn't as nice to look at at and unless they do something huge with the design I can't see me changing either. 50k miles is nothing for these cars.

Yeah, but look at the S4 compaired to the RS4..... miles apart in looks and performance.

Plus guys remember that the new S4 (never mind the RS4 if it arrives) will be even more "lardy", the engine alone must add weight I would think?
Edited to sa bl**dy hell Ian, a 17000kms RS4 for £19 grand!!
Spawny get!
