Hi folks. I want to send an expensive watch to France. Value is £30k. All the usual suspects (UPS, DHL, Royal Mail, .... blah blah) won't do it. They either have £10k insurance value limit or will only send uninsured because it's a watch (or any jewellery for that matter) - so despite their sole existence being to take parcels from A to B, if they stuff it up and it ends up at C and gets lost then they will only refund the postage!
Anyone have experience of this. High value stuff moves around, so how is everyone else doing it? Thought I had nailed it when I found the UPS Declared Value service, only to discover that watches over $500 are prohibited.
Grrrrrrr.
Cheers,

Yep, thought that would be the first response. Just don't have the time, but may have to. Anyway, there still has to be a way to post it insured. There has to be!
