Rowan Atkison wrecked his Aston Martin [img]images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img], don't know the modell, at a private race in Mallory Park in Leicestershire shire. The Aston had a value of 150000 Euros. He "kissed" [img]images/graemlins/sloppy.gif[/img] the wall with a speed of ca. 100 mph. For his own luck he had no injuries.

He had wrecked the car in 2001 before. And in 1999 he had a crash with his McLaren F1 on the Autobahn. [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]

The Zagato looks like a piece of [censored] [img]images/graemlins/<beep>_you.gif[/img], and for that you have to pay so much money. Ha-Ha!! I belief it's fast, but the comment: "I belief his brakes were broken" [img]images/graemlins/ban.gif[/img] doesn't seem to be true. The statistic shows: so many crashs that must be a bad driver. Rowan Atkinson is actually an accomplished racing driver and is very well known in Historic Racing circles.

If he crashed is Zagato then it would have probable been mechanical failure rather than driver error.

Sorry guys but I feel I have to put my oar in on this one:
I've had the pleasure of racing against Mr A on several occasions in the Aston Martin Championship and can confirm that he is a highly accomplished driver with a genuine enthusiasm for his cars; furthermore in the time I've been racing he's the only co-competitor to have actually come over and apologise after a race during which when we had an (probably unavoidable) altercation of bodywork (his brakes failed and he ran into the back of me). Having said that it's the second time he's demolished the Zagato - the last time was at Silverstone a couple of years ago.
