That's a good price Dave. What size is the room? 3x3m?

Along the lines of the advice already offered, I would say go for a large shower enclosure and forget the wet room. With a big enough shower, especially with a nice minimal glass screen and quality low level "tray" (something with the characteristics of a quality floor material) you will have a great showering space without the need of a full on wet room.

The is the shower in our ensuite (so a much smaller space), renovated last year.

Nice Graham. We didn't want any doors if possible. I understand you probably needed one on that though.

Are you planning on loosing the bath altogether? Is it your only bathroom? If so, just remember it can't be sold as a bathroom without a bath.

Haven't got a bath at the moment, and is only bathroom in the house. Our old house didn't have a bath, yet was classed as a bathroom when sold.

Are you planning on a family, or do you want to sell in the future to a family? Washing kids in a shower is impossible!

No kids planned. We sold our last house with just a shower to a couple with a kid. Cleaned my niece and nephew just fine in a shower too. You do realise a bath can be fitted after though? It's like folks not buying a car cause the wheels aren't oem or are curbed, just get some new wheels.

Chunk and/or anyone else, if you are need of 'premium' bathroom (or even kitchen) equipment, drop me a msg with what you need. I have a great contact in the bathroom world who supply much much most of the top end stuff without the top end prices.
Infact pop over to Junction 2 Interiors Oldbury and if theres something you definately want let me know and I'm sure I can get a better price than RRP sorted for you.

I went down there on Sunday Max. Lad at work has just purchased stuff from there, can't believe how much they knocked of the prices.
