Wet room

Post by chunky79 » Sat Jul 15, 2017 6:19 pm

Has anyone had their bathroom turned into a wet room? Our bathroom is roughly 1.8m x 2.4m, it only has a sink and shower in it (toilet is in a room on its own). Looking to turn it into a wet room, does anyone have an idea what it could cost?
Cheers

You're sick man. Wet room will only lead to "watersports"
Did Ilya's post, in another thread, about the Thai girl squirting get you thinking??

What's the point? Ideal if space is at a premium - you ditch shower glass and doors? But most peoples houses have their smallest bedroom smaller than 1.8 x 2.4m! That's huge for a bathroom with only a shower and sink? Were you planning to have oily sex parties in there?

I'd put a huge walk in (doorless) shower along the six foot wall. Or the wall that suits you best - avoiding doors and windows, water in, waste out etc. And if you wanted to add value, put an extra toilet in there as well! Or his and hers sinks

Edit - Eddie, you beat me to it!

No need for an extra toilet, already got 2. You did read the size correctly didn't you? It's not that big a room. Don't forget door swings into the room and then there's the window wall.

Got the tray and enclosure from Amazon. Great value and is a superb piece of kit. Even the installer asked where we got it from so he could get one !

I'm more concerned that he's stark boooolack naked taking the pic. The water all over the floor makes me think he's just got out.

Its fricking palatial for just a shower room! Not your main bathroom. You obviously live in a mansion!

PS. DK, lovely bathroom!

It's our main bathroom. Toilet is in its own room, and then one downstairs.
