Hi Steveo,
I have used the Swann system for about 3 years now
I have the 4 camera system, something like the blue 40000 system it's called
It was easy to install, I use it with my IPhone 6 and any pc - worldwide
I was n Greece last year and told my teenage son to shut the back gate he had left open, and can he put the bin away the bin men had been,,,, he was totally unaware we had the system! Lol
I think it was about 400 from Maplins, I did upgrade the night vision camera that oversees the beast!

I hope that you're no referring to a camera that you've hidden in his bedroom to watch his girlfriend

I've been thinking about this too. The swann kits from maplin seem good value, thanks for the tip
£240, 4x HD cameras with night vision, 1TD hard drive, remote viewing through the app.
Only thing stopping me is I'm too lazy, I mean busy, to install, so need to find someone to do it for me!

I dunno if you guys are aware but if you have an old iPhone which can connect to wifi you can get an free App called "at home". You need the app as a capture camera and the app for viewing on your phones and you'll be able to place the capture cam anywhere and you can view and hear and even talk through it. from anywhere in the world. You have to QR sync the phones so it's secure. Ps it uses a lot of power so best keep the cam plugged in.
