2 black cabs with the same ch plate??

2 old P reg black cabs on the highway this morning, both very similar reg numbers, 1 digit difference but both had the same Hackney Carriage license number plate on the back? something didn't seem right about that, anyone care to shed some light?

What?? You serious?
The company I work for buy around 30 vans together so the reg plates follow in from each other.

Yeah I understand about registration numbers being similar but the Hackney Carriage license plate, the white one that identifies the cab. How can 2 of those be the same?
