Watch Batteries

I know a lot of you have watches, so you might have experience.
My day to day watch stopped last week, so I take it into my local jewellers for a replacement battery.
I know they have to send it away for sealing, but it is not cleaned and it takes 5-6 weeks [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] I was amazed at the length of time.
