Any ex smokers on here?
Off them since end of November now, Christ it isn't getting any easier, this week has been the worst since I've started believe it or not.
Any advice?!?

KitKat chunkies are an excellent substitute; I could get three for a pound when I quit...looked a bit like Fat Bastard after a heavy meal though...

I've never smoked a cigarette in my life but everyone I know who's ever given up did it the Allen Carr way.

I even had one lazy mate listen to the audio book, that was 7 years ago, still going strong.

Exercise mate. Whichever type you start to enjoy, be it running, lifting weights, swimming, triathlons, etc, etc. Find something you like and it will help you stay away from the cigarettes as they are so counterproductive. You'll find you enjoy the natural endorphins instead but you need to give it time and find the exercise / sport you enjoy.

It'll be 4 Years this year. Definitely worth it I've saved a fortune!! (Then bought a V8 and spent it all but sooooo worth it)

Gave up 7 years ago & was the best (hardest) thing i've ever done.
Just stick at it & what got me through strangely enough is to keep thinking how hard giving up had been & then how stupid it would be to have to give up again.
