A certain toll road...

Post by SuprSi » Wed Sep 24, 2014 3:37 pm

Is there anywhere along a stretch of road that I'll be going to soon where I should be extra careful with the right foot?

Thanks :biggrin2:

haha just didn't wanna give too much info away :P It's in the west midlands area of england.
it will be some time in the evening when I doubt there will be much traffic.

Ah screw it, M6 toll :)

Going to Anglesea for a trackday (on the bike, not the 6) Bikes are going up in the van leaving the RS6 unencumbered :jump_clap:

I know theres no cameras heading up to the toll but cannot say after that mate.but you will always find some camera van lurking in a dark spot somewhere you dont expect it to be....i went to overtake a car last week and as i was overtaking and giving it the beans i didnt relise i had passed a copper van coming oppisite direction lol

Get the app called "Waze"....

It's the best satnav available imho. Community based so anything on the road that's unwanted gets reported and flagged up on your route!

Awesome!

There are often manned scameras on the bridges. I wouldn't bother if I were you.

It's a bad bad road for trying such things on these days. Because it's so empty and safe they patrol the hell out of it with unmarked cars and scamera vans.

Where have you seen those Nigel?

I drive that road 4-8 times a month & very rare i see any of my tax money being deployed.

Always glad that setting off like a cock out of the toll traps isn't yet a motoring offence, as probably the most fun i have on her majesties highways nowadays.

Silver unmarked Jag runs the M6 toll road seen it several times over the past 6 months including today, seen it twice sitting up on the slip road 2 miles from the toll south bound, I have seen it several times parked up on the hard shoulder with the blues on sitting behind a car with the driver in the jag, both sides north and South .... Take it easy
