Was watching a programme last night on Patak Philippe watches......

They do one for £500,000 with a 16yr waiting list!!

I must admit, I don't have that sort of cash, I'd only ever spend max £300,000 on a watch

I did like the look of them though, in my opinion lots of pricey watches look to showy (rolex et al) but these just looked quality.

I guess in a lot of ways they remind me of Audi, i.e quality product but not to OTT.

but I like you link to Audi...
actually, Patek used to have a slogan: "Start your own tradition ..." -- kind of nice too, isn't it.
