The mrs got the plate for me one christmas, R1 is for RIchard

Eddie is my name. And the 555 has 2 meanings. I once was fan of the imprezas and for some stupid reason I keep waking up at 5.55am. So I'm thinking 555 might be my lucky number. Ps I'm Chinese and as other Chinese will tell you we have some very strange superstition's.

'Johnnydog' - nothing to do with our canine friends... John - that's me. Dog - work mates couldn't quite understand why I ran a number (which I still have) of old Triumph cars, along with my everyday cars. With a few old Triumphs at home, one work mate (who didn't quite grasp the finer points of classic car ownership) once said 'It's like Johnny Dog Motors at your house'; 'dogs' being how they saw the condition of my Triumphs (they were actually in good nick, and still are!). Johnnydog then stuck, and I actually used johnnydogmotors it as the first part of my very first email address for many years, until I felt I should have a more respectable one (depending on who it was being sent to of course..). I have used johnnydog on all forums I've ever registered on........
