My behaviour is always met with confusion but when they finally ask why I'm saying "NO!", I say: "well, you seem to be answering some sort of secret questions that I can't hear, so I've started answering my own secret question too". This usually creates an awkward moment but 9 times out of 10 they don't ask what my secret question is, but I love it when they do, I casually say "my secret question is; does this guy have any idea I want to punch him in the head?"
how about people saying 'you get me'? do you have veins popping out your head when you hear that?

Glad I started this thread, it's giving me a good laugh :beerchug:

Another thing I hate is when someone you don't know and have never met (e.g. spotty young checkout operator in Asda) starts calling you 'buddy'. The fact that I'm casually dressed in DC shoes and Quiksilver t shirt and jeans in no way gives you the right to call me buddy you disrespectful little tw*t, especially when I'm probably old enough to be your dad

Shall we just rename this the rant thread? Everyone can add to it, except on Fridays. On a Friday, we will only share joy - see 'The Friday Thread' in the C5 forum for more details. All welcome.

I hate it when someone invites everyone to a thread you created, listen to you coming on like Boris Johnson; "welcome to London, all welcome". *joke*

Well you can rectify that "buddy" by not shopping at fecking Asda! :) Fecking horendous sh*thole of a place. I'd rather hunt for my food or starve. Try Waitrose for a more respectful and uplifting customer experience which mildy deters you from the fact you are getting positivily fleeced at the same time for your bag of fecking peas!

As an upstanding *chuckle* member of the C5 community, I thought it would be okay if I invited these lot on your behalf. Any decent out of control house party has loads of people that the host, in the case, yourself, doesn't know or hasn't invited. Invite remains, bring girls.

'Buddy' is the new 'Mate' so it seems, if your Welsh then this becomes 'Butty'.
