There's loads in Virgin at The Mall, but you'll have to fight your way through screaming kids to get in.

I think I must be getting old.

I got bored with the PS1 so didn't bother to buy the PS2 or X-Box.
Are they really that much better than the PS1 ??

Knowing my luck I'll just go and buy the PS2 as they announce the PS3  :piss:

Will PS1 games play in a PS2 ?

So, should I get suitably excited to go buy one, where's the cheapest place

The PS3 is not that far away.... but I would have thought late next year!

Buying a PS2 now will do you no harm, there under £99 so a bargin, they play old PS1 games, but you need to keep hold of a PS1 memory card to save your games.

There budget game list now extends to over 100 titles.... it plays DVD...... its also shrunk and the new PS2 is the size of two DVD cases ontop of each other.... very smart.

Xbox may represent better value but you dont get Gran Turismo......

You also have the Grand Theft Auto series.... and soon 24 the game exclusive to PS2

Play have them cheap, Amazon, Tesco and Boots if I can find the offer code.... will post back if I find it!

I know one thing for sure, and thats you must have hooked up an almost perfect lap in the M5 - well done indeed.

I've not played since last weekend. I've been working 16+ hours a day. I may have another go this weekend and see how I get on. It was a good lap with only around three or four mistakes but enough that I can improve.

I guess it helps knowing the 'ring.

Just another one for you - the 1A driving test in the Merc around the ring: 9'11 for a silver gong. The pace car kept getting in the way down all the straights I was banging it's bumper!

I've just done about 10 laps in the RS6 and just couldn't get within 5 secs of my previous time. I kept crashing and and generally driving poorly. Who'd have thought you have good GT4 days and bad ones!

Just clocked a 7:39.737 with the M5. Very pleased with it, but I reckon that is at least 10 seconds off what the car is capable of.

Fantastic game, so addictive.
