I hate vista too! its not as logical for me some how as pre xp or even xp and I don't know why lol

Vista's a slow arse ..... good funtionality on the network pages, allows you to interogate connected interfaces easier, sp1 doesnt make any difference to any type of improvement of speed,
but I prefer xp essential, last cracked edition with all crap removed and replaced with some good tools

MS has just announced SP1 for Vista...a huge >450Mb!!! That must be a full OS!

In XP terms maybe, but Vista comes on 5 CDs!!!

ok...except 100% of our business software won't run on Mac.

I got a new company laptop with Vista

My boss had to listen to me saying f....ing Vista for a couple of months and don't mention Office 2007.

Windows Vista - the best bit of advertising Apple could have ever asked for.

Our office was one of the first in this area to have desktop PC's and i've always gone for the upgrades and new products when they have been available but Vista and Office 2007 have destroyed that. I've never found such a piece of engineering for it's own sake only before. I maintain 20+ pc's at work but i now have an Apple Mac at home and won't go back to Windows. I use the remote desktop to access office machine when i "need" a PC for business software.

Nice one microsoft.
