DavidT, I can see the pictures. My car was ancored as well, but this didnt stop the issues. The car was dyno'd on a DynoDynamics rolling road..

All the S3's and TT's (haldex only causes this issue) have the same dyno charts! All choppy [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

The Torsen diffs don't create these problems...

Ideas? ESP was also off

Hey Kris, what gear was the rolling run conducted in? May have an effect on Haldex cars? (clutching at straws here [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img])

Not sure what else you can do unless the rollers offer too little friction.

At Well Lane, the cars were fixed very tight front and rear and pulled down onto the rollers as well by the angle of the straps from car to ground.

I suspect there was no wheelspin hence no need for the haldex to move the power to the rear wheels.

Not sure why other rolling roads struggle. The guy at Well Lane said they had not had any problems with S3's or TT's.

I dont have anything against as.net, just never joined up because i followed the people i knew from the old as.net, which mostly migrated to tyresmoke.net.

But i think if you ask most of the forum members you`ll always have people who post actively in some forums and not it others, the more forums there are the more time you need to keep up with it all! you`ll already start to find members cutting and pasting the same posts and replies in all or two forums! Andiroo, I'm not 100% sure. 4th gear?

When I redyno with the exhaust syste (hopefully next month) I will request they strap it down heavily.. Every single TT/S3 they have dyno'd does it...

Its annoying because I'd love to get a nice torque curve but instead I get what looks like a mountain range [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

May be worth trying in 5th rather than 4th, could be too much acceleration in the lower gear? Just a thought.

I think it must be due to the strapping also. Mt S3 didn't squirm/jump/spin or anything at TDI the other day. It was strapped down from the towing eyes.

TDI is at Barking in Essex, and the plots were a shambles. The car was getting hot apparently, I guess the fan was pointing the wrong way or something [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] I was not really amused, especially as I got lumped with a £111 bill [img]images/graemlins/033102ass_1_prv.gif[/img]
