Gav, it'll be like my car against yours....... except you've just filled up with diesel
Be very wary before money goes on the table. Most I've received is £500

Standard is pretty high at my 'evenings'

Plenty of league players, and of course I have home advantage on the table

Plus we play house rules, which are slightly different to most pub rules.

In a nutshell;
none of this picking up the white nonsense
no red chalk (really gets my goat that red stuff)
no back off the D
one shot on the black (unless carried on from the earlier balls
spots and stripes balls (old skool!)
nominate pocket, no need to stick though.
Jump shots allowed.
One foot at least on the floor
no rests
my decision is final.

I usualy play WEPF rules that are used by the English Pool Association for affiliated leagues/counties/internationals and also by the IPA professional tour.
I'm sure I can accomodate your house rules though

13 foot high mate, it's an old victorian house.
Fair play to you if you can hit them though, I can't even reach them on a stepladder!

We finish off on 15th March against the team that has won it for the last five years. I have been in the team that came second every time in that period.
I'm sure there will be plenty of banter that night. oh and some

Thats going to be one messy night, cant wait!

I now can't wait for this to start next February. It has a total of £180,000 of prize money on offer, playing the top professionals in the game at events all around the country. 8)

If anyone has a company that wishes to start a sponsorship deal, all enquiries are welcome
Please PM for further details.

Good luck Paul, the pool table went along with the fancy flat and the S4 when junior came along (she's 9 months now)
I've still got the trophy though, I suppose it's rightfully yours, but I'm keeping it ;-)

You can see it here taking pride of place on my desk in work:

Hope you do well, long time no speak and all that, work/house/etc.. has been manic, will try to make it to a meet soon.
