Anyone into old HiFi's?

Post by Daytona » Mon Mar 21, 2016 9:26 pm

The mother in-law is down sizing and having a clear out. She's got some Akai separates I'm guessing from the late 80's maybe as it has a CD player. Once I've taken some pictures I'll put them up along with the model numbers but does anyone have any idea if it's worth anything?
Cheers

I doubt it but get some model numbers up and we can have a look, some of their cassette decks had a decent rep back in the day but really I doubt it will be worth much if anything at all.

I'm using a vintage (1972) Kenwood receiver as an amp in my office. Sounds very nice indeed. They don't make 'em like they used to.
