Most of the stuff Amazon touches turns to gold, but I'm not sure I can be bothered with Top Gear puerility any more.

Really? We were discussing this in the office and the consensus was Amazon was getting its arse handed to it by Netflix.

I'm not sure. Amazon prime content is pretty good. Netflix content is 1) a bit random and 2) very difficult to find out if you don't already have a subscription, which irritates me. However, Netflix infrastructure is hard to beat. They've invested a lot into it. Having said that, I never have issues streaming at 1080p with Amazon either.
99% of my TV viewing is now through Amazon, even though initially I subscribed for the free next day delivery. I think I'm going to get a Netflix sub at some point also, though, because I believe that it's technically better and for the occasional series that isn't on Amazon. Also, it's not a big outlay.
Another thing going for Netflix is the Virgin TiVo integration, although I haven't tried it.
Fifth gear is pretty good - a better mix of silliness and actual car reviewing. Tiffany Dell is always good.

Yeah, I'd be interested to see how that looks on a decent 4K TV. Trick is finding a decent 4K TV.
