Has anyone done any of these driving days when you get to drive a Ferrari for example? Are they value for money (and fun), or a corporate rip off?
I was looking at www.iantaylor.co.uk - you can drive a 360 Modena or Porker 911 Turbo..(or even get your ARDS license if you really want it)

Can't beat a bit of boost!
Re: Driving days/Red Letter days
I did the Tangerine Supercar Experience with my father for his birthday. Good fun, but was happy to get back into my car and let it rip without some muppet telling to be careful.....

Re: Driving days/Red Letter days
The best day I have been on is the Palmersport Motorsport Sensation. (4 times now )
The cars are not in the Ferrari league (they are Exige, Evo7, Caterham, VX220, Clio cup racer and of course the Palmer Audi single seaters), but they are superb fun and it seems you are not out of the cars all day .
The instructors make sure you get the most out of the cars.
It think it is £700 for the day though - corporate day for sure.....
It was back in 1998 when I drove my first S4 there

Re: Driving days/Red Letter days
Id be just as happy driving an EVO 7/Exige etc as a Ferrari. In some ways I would rather drive the EVO 7 - just to see what I'm supposedly 'missing' by driving an Audi (I'm referring to magazine reviews on our uninvolving feedback etc)
I think £700 quid a time might put me off though

Re: Driving days/Red Letter days
I didn't like it at all, actually.
Powerful car, but it sits way too high, so it is easy to get it unsettled in the corners. (good for getting it sideways though )
I couldn't have one as my day to day car.
