Make sure you set the Qualifing set-up to use Qualifing tyres...!.. There are no fuel stops in the 1986 series...Normally hard tyres will be good for the whole race, check with the race engineer for the tyre wear at a certain track.

Your problem is that you don't have a team mate to share setup with and you don't seem to use Qualifying tyres in Qualifying.

Remember that there are no fuel stops in 86 so it's is possible to go the whole race on a set of hard tyres. Your more than welcome to ask about anything you don't understand....just don't do what I did in the last Qualifying session and run Wets in a dry session !

If you click on engineers advice on the car setup screen (above the recent laps) it will tell you what you should set-up your car up as and which tyres will last ....This is done for each circuit....have a look it will help you. If you do have a team mate getting Kool Tools means that you can load your team mates setup directly.

Have a look at driving style as well....I tend to run 100% pace and 75% aggression...have a play with the other settings.
