Children in Need..

Post by tartan_rob » Fri Nov 17, 2006 10:11 am

I was just listening to Radio2 on the way to dropping my daughter off at school and heard that Elvis track where he bursts into laughter and can't complete the song....with tears streaming down my face I decided to make a concerted effort to pledge something for these poor kids...

I marked my donation as RS246 forum member and used my login name as my name on the donation.

Ive been watching this program tonight and I have to say I'm a real blubber when it comes to viewing children with so many different hardships. Kids...little people...innnocent human beings. Gulp! Being a Dad myself how could you NOT give...great post.

The pic that set me off this week was the on the front page of the Daily Mail, showed a young lad marching past the Cenotaph carrying a wreath, wearing his late fathers medals, killed in the Iraq conflict.
Very brave little chap.

I've donated a few quid.

Only the BBC can put on a show like that at a cost of £ 0 !!!
