Post by s4woody » Sat Jul 15, 2006 6:15 pm

i was on the A217 today when i saw this and had to stop..it had just been test driven by simon cowel of X factor fame..
if he buys it he,ll be paying a cool 1 and a quarter million..not bad for a guy who has short legs and a mullet..

Seem to be a few knocking round. This one was spotted off Deansgate , Manchester.

Im afraid to say it might be owned by some footballing type.

If that one in Manchester does belong to a footballer, I hope he gets a ticket. His tyre is clearly touching the double yellow. And don't you need a brain to drive one of those things?

This car was also featured in a rather popular red top rag the other day and belogs to Tim Cahill, Aussie footballer for Man City IIRC

Bet the plate cost him a pretty penny too

I presume your friend's boss doesn't have a boss?? That is incredible. I didn't someone could just buy 2 just like that? I'd love to know what he does!

Ah yes, but you could get away with a ticket on a technicality - the double yellows are broken by the drain!

I don't think they mean anything - I would imagine they're there to help you park i.e. so you can see the end of the double yellows in your mirror?

Just been thinking while looking at the pics, where are the number plates at the front? I thought it was the law to have a plate at the front and back? Correct me if i'm wrong. Also, red looks best!

I see. So he's in a space then :!:

As for the front plate, I also thought you needed one so the speed camera's could get you both ways  (but bikes don't have them on the front)

Yeah thats true, but surely if you didn't have to have them buy law on a car then no manufacturers would put them on as surely the car will look better with a grill designed without a plat ein place. Anyone else have any knowledge on this?
