Adversaries Forum

Post by PhilT » Tue Feb 21, 2012 3:47 pm

One thing we have experienced over the years is a attrition due to people moving to veritable adversary cars. We tried to maintain the community by launching TrackDayHeroes.com back in 2004, but it failed due to the lack of new members for the track day theme.

Fact is that this site has a great community, some of us may choose to stray from the Audi clan, dabble in a little off piste action and would still like to play an active part in the site.

As we like to do this openly, I have set up this poll to see what your thoughts are. The poll will run for 30 days.

Are you selling the RS4 and going full <beep>?

I'd expect this new "adversaries" section will get a bit "heated" from time to time... yeah, what the hell, I'm game.

If we're going to have an Adversaries Forum, can we also have some more insulting emoticons to throw at them ?

Ouch, that's harsh!!!! :bash:

The thing is I kinda like you lot and don't feel the same about my new community options. I'm still me, even if I now drive a ricer. Same goes for BMW M* / AMG / Porsche Turbo or GT*.

The debates could get heated but the aim is not to really to attract pure "inferior breed" users, but to retain the people we know so we can continue to have friendly banter with each other.

Would be a useful resource to get some comparatives of Audi to Adversary experiences.

-agreed, the crowd in here are far superior to other sites . . - so why not(?) ...there could be some interesting 'debates'

As an aside Phil, it could have all been so different if you'd bought a Dodge Viper [rather than an Audi] all those years ago . . .

LOL :)

I was thinking something like an "Adversaries" forum with sub forums for GT-R, M*, AMG, Porsche, etc...

What is the downside to attempting this advsersaries forum?
