good idea

rather than one "adversaries" forum I would prefer 3 or 4 sub-forums - BMW, Merc, Porsche being the obvious ones

The tone and quality of posting would drop considerably... but hang on, if you just banned RSkiwi then both the quality and the tone would increase ten-fold.
There, that's settled it: banning all Kiwi scum from this site will allow the "Adversaries" forum to go ahead, sorted. Make it so Phil.

Hang on just a minute....me lower the tone? Bams the crass criminal Aussie, I say ban him and all Canary Yellow wearing thieves from his land.

Kiwis, we just bring a touch of international class to these forums. For example, my Milltek exhaust is resonated so its just that little bit classier than the straight through ear raper of Bams.

Kiwis: You know we are here but we keep it low key
Ockers: Parade around in hi viz country colours with LOOK AT ME screaming from every orifice, not the type that this sort of forum really needs.

Look Kiwi, my grandfather was a famous rapist and my grandmother was an infamous panel beater, what did you expect my exhaust to sound like? So you bought an off-the-shelf Milltek and you call it "International Class", bitch please, next you'll start claiming that the All-Blacks aren't cheats.

Kiwis - They add a massive antenna to their Auckland city tower JUST to make it taller than "the one in Sydney".
Aussies - Didn't even know the Kiwi's had a city tower... nor care.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Sounds like a good idea though I don't think it would be worth having separate sub-forums for specific makes. A general free-for-all adversaries forum for us to discuss/rate/slag all makes would be best. There's a lot of good banter on here and no real nobbers so it would be good to expand thngs a little.
Current;
Porsche 997.1 GT3RS. Pure Orange, ceramics, etc, Sharkwerks exhaust
BMW 2002 restomod; Turbo body kit, S14 M3 Evo engine and lots more
Audi Q3 Black edition Quattro

Previously enjoyed;
Ibis White B7 RS4 Avant : TTS Supercharged 615ps/614 nm
Subaru Impreza 22B
Noble M400
TVR 400SE
Lotus Sunbeam Avon

I was thinking the same. I like the idea of sub forums, but see the difference between general car chat and adversaries. The sub forums might encourage Audi to see why the adversaries are attracting their hardcore enthusiast customers.

Wouldn't that be under the 'Dirty Pikey Queue Jumpers' section?

I think its a good idea, but the name might incite riot between different marques. Maybe using the term "other marques" or does that sound boring. While we are at it, what about having Track Day Heroes as a sub forum? Im pissed so ignore me if im talking <beep>

I voted yes - having joined the adversaries side already, be nice to post things about the current car - as PhilT says, this is a great community and I am still lurking having been a member for a long time...
